GARDN Network

GARDN is a newly established Business-led Network of Centres of Excellence, with an initial budget of approximately $23M over four years (2009-2013).

Its mission is to promote aerospace technologies for the protection of the environment. GARDN’s activities are in support of the competitive excellence of Canadian aerospace products and services, the economic success of the member companies and the development and training of highly qualified personnel in the aerospace environmental field.

GARDN will champion synergies with other Canadian and international environmental initiatives, such as Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ), Future Major Platforms (FMP), etc, as well as international activities in International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Union (CleanSky), NATO, etc.
